Šejla Džakmić, PhD, is the Manager of the Research and Development Center (RDC) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). Alongside, she serves as a Senior Assistant in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. She finished her PhD in September 2026, entitled "A compliant motion control and haptic technologies". Šejla has authored/coauthored several conference papers and articles in reputable journals, and actively participated as researcher in few nationally funded projects. Her research interests include bilateral systems, motion control and haptic interactions.
